It is common for people born in the Year of the Pig to be gentle, selfless and loyal as well as holding diligent, compassionate and generous traits.

The Lunar Year of the Pig is the last sign in the Chinese zodiac before it starts anew in 2020 with the Year of the Rat. Since 2014 we have celebrated this ancient Chinese custom by releasing more additions to The Shēngxiào Collection – honouring each animal of the lunar calendar in turn.

This year we add the Year of the Pig to the collection. Those born under this sign are admired for their kindness and their traits are amongst the gentlest and most selfless of the signs of the Chinese zodiac. Only once every 12 years does the pig appear in the Chinese zodiac, making this a unique moment to celebrate an ancient Chinese tradition.
