Arguably one of the most influential Prime Ministers in British history, Sir Winston Churchill has an impressive legacy. This commemorative crown was released in 1965 to pay homage to the death of Churchill. The reverse features a portrait of Churchill alongside the inscription ‘CHURCHILL’, as designed by Oscar Nemon. The first official coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse. This 1965 Churchill crown is in a minimum of Extra Fine condition.
