This Historic set brings together three historic crowns, each one, representing one of the three longest-reigning monarchs of Great Britain. All three of these monarchs reached their Golden Jubilees. The first British monarch to mark 50 years on the throne in a significant way was George III, followed by Queen Victoria then Queen Elizabeth II. Previous monarchs have reigned for more than 50 years, however, these three were king/queens of Great Britain in the modern era, where jubilees were publicly celebrated.
