Trial of the Pyx Prize Draw

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The promoter of this competition is The Royal Mint Limited of Llantrisant, Pontyclun, United Kingdom CF72 8YT (The Royal Mint).
2. Any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform used by The Royal Mint as part of the promotion.
3. The Prize draw will open on Wednesday 13^th October 09:00hrs GMT, and closes on Monday 18^th October at 12:00hrs GMT. The winner of the prize draw will be announced on The Royal Mint via email.
4. You can enter the Prize draw by completing the Trail of the Pyx quiz and entering your data at the end of the quiz. One entry per person, if the quiz is taken more than once, then only one entry will be added to the prize draw.
5. The winner of the prize draw will receive a Trial of the Pyx 2019 Peidford Kew garden silver 50p.
6. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entrants and will be notified by email. The winner may also be announced on Facebook / Twitter / Instagram / LinkedIn. Where possible the draw will take place within 48 hours of the prize draw closing.
7. Once the winner has been notified, they will have 48 hours to respond to claim their prize and confirm their address for delivery. If the winner fails to claim their prize, or chooses not to claim it, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner drawn
8. The winner of the prize draw may be asked to participate in related publicity to the prize won. They may be asked to write a review of the prize.
9. To enter the prize draw, you must take part in the Trail of the Pyx quiz and enter your data.
10. The prize draw winner is only open to residents of the:

10.1.     United Kingdom

AND

10.2.     following states of the United States of America: California, Florida, New York, and Texas.

11. There is no purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
12. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.
13. The prize will be sent to the winner by Monday 1^st November 2021 subject to Covid-19 restrictions.
14. The Royal Mint reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond The Royal Mint's control makes it necessary to do so.
15. This prize draw is not open to employees of The Royal Mint or their immediate family.
16. Award entry is not conditional to consenting to marketing.
17. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when they are entered into the prize draw.
18. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to these prize draw are final and binding.
19. Under no circumstances will The Royal Mint be responsible for any loss, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion of the award or acceptance of the prize.
20. The Royal Mint will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses which may arise in connection with this prize draw.
21. The Royal Mint can cancel or alter the prize draw at any stage.
22. The information submitted in the prize draw are for the following purposes: to enter the prize draw : so that we can contact your regarding any publicity requests; so that we may reach you via social media platforms; and as a method of contact for any related or future promotions if you choose to opt in to marketing communications.
23. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in The Royal Mint’s Privacy Policy.
24. The prize draw will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
