This set of bronze medals comes from the Kings and Queens of England series originally created by Swiss engraver Jean Dassier between the years 1731 to 1734. There are five medals in this set commemorating Edward I, Edward II, Edward III, Edward IV and Edward V. The obverse of each medal in this set commemorates one of each of these five monarchs, with different designs appearing on the reverse of each coin. Each of these medals are in a minimum of Extremely Fine condition. There were 34 medals in the original collection, commemorating monarchs from William the Conqueror through to George II.
