The Queens Beasts Collection continues

Although it may have its origins in ancient times, heraldry still surrounds us today. As an art form heraldry is, by its very nature, distinctive by design, inspiring artists to reinterpret its traditions through the ages. Royal Mint coin designer Jody Clark has brought The Queen’s fierce royal protectors into the twentieth century with a series of modern designs. His second design captures the majestic Unicorn of Scotland, the powerful symbol that joins the Lion of England on the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom.

This edition of the coin has been struck in five ounces of 999.9 fine gold and has a 50mm diameter. The coin has been finished to Proof standard and is presented in a Royal Mint case with a booklet produced in association with Clive Cheesman, Richmond Herald at the College of Arms.
