2022 Collect Week Awards

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The promoter of this competition is The Royal Mint Limited of Llantrisant, Pontyclun, United Kingdom CF72 8YT (The Royal Mint).
2. Any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform used by The Royal Mint as part of the promotion.
3. The five awards open on 1st August at 9:00hrs GMT, and close on Sunday 9th September at 23:59hrs GMT. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates/times will not be included and no correspondence will be entered into. The five winners will be placed in a public vote to win a award for Ultimate Collector. The poll will be opened up to public vote on Monday 26th September 12:00hrs GMT and close Saturday 1st October 12:00hrs GMT. The winner will be announced on The Royal Mint website. https://www.royalmint.com/collect/collect-week/
4. One winner will selected for each award category by the judging panel and will be notified by email. Name and images of collection may also be used on Facebook / Twitter / Instagram / LinkedIn and on The Royal Mints website. The judging panel will review all entries and where possible the winner from each category will be informed via email. Each award criteria has been detailed under the award heading on the awards entry web page. Each winner will receive a prize this will be a premium collector set.
5. Each winner of the five awards will be entered into a public vote. The poll will run from Monday 26th September 12:00hrs GMT until Saturday 1st October 12:00hrs GMT, the winner of the poll will be announced on Sunday 2nd October and receive a prize for the Ultimate collector award. The winner of the poll with be the person who has received the most votes from the public. The poll will be live on The Royal Mint’s website.
6. The ultimate collector winner will receive a coin set that includes one bullion, one historic and one commemorative.
7. Each award winner from the five categories will need to respond to email and confirm confirmation of winning by 12:00hrs GMT on Tuesday 20th September to claim their prize and clarify address for delivery. If the winner fails to claim their prize, or chooses not to claim it, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be chosen.
8. The winners of the award categories and the overall winner of the ultimate collector award may be asked to participate in any related publicity to the prize and/or asked to write a review of the prize.
9. To enter the awards, you must complete the form, upload images of your collection, and follow the criteria outline for the award you wish to enter. https://www.royalmint.com/collect/collect-week/collect-week-awards/. Each award criteria has been detailed under the award heading on the awards entry web page.
10. The awards are only open to residents of the:

             10.1.     United Kingdom

             AND

             10.2.     following states of the United States of America: California, Florida, New York, and Texas.

11. One entry per person, per category is allowed as long as criteria has been adhered to for each award category.
12. There is no purchase necessary to enter the awards.
13. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.
14. Each prize will be sent to the winners by Monday 27th September subject to Covid-19 restrictions. There is no guarantee of delivery of the prize before Monday 4th October 2021.
15. The Royal Mint reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond The Royal Mint's control makes it necessary to do so.
16. This award is not open to employees of The Royal Mint or their immediate family.
17. Award entry is not conditional to consenting to marketing.
18. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when they are entered into the awards.
19. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to these awards are final and binding.
20. Under no circumstances will The Royal Mint be responsible for any loss, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion of the award or acceptance of the prize.
21. The Royal Mint will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses which may arise in connection with these awards.
22. The Royal Mint can cancel or alter the awards at any stage.
23. The information submitted in the awards entry are for the following purposes: to enter the awards; so that we can contact you to inform you of the outcome of the awards; so that we can contact you regarding any publicity requests; so that we may reach you via social media platforms; and as a method of contact for any related or future promotions if you choose to opt in to marketing communications.
24. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in The Royal Mint’s Privacy Policy.

  25.  The awards will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
