Please note, for the 10oz Thor Silver Antiqued Bar, there is a household limit of 5 bars per customer.
Thor, son of Odin the All-Father, is the strongest of all the Norse gods. His mighty hammer Mjollnir is feared throughout the nine realms of the Norse cosmos, particularly by the frost and mountain giants. Thor is the god of thunder and his strength is so great, he can lift the Midgard serpent, a gigantic snake that encircles the earth. The deity will eventually battle the creature at Ragnarök, the twilight of the gods.
Embellished with an antiqued finish, this minted bullion bar features a unique illustration that portrays Thor wielding his formidable hammer, Mjollnir, as he commands lightning from the sky above. Megingjard, his belt of strength, hugs his powerful midriff and he drives a chariot drawn by two male goats named Tanngniost and Tanngrisnir.
Collector boxes for The Royal Mint’s Norse Gods bullion minted bar range are exclusively available with the purchase of the first bar in the series, Odin.
Please note that the antiqued finish on each bar range in the Norse Gods series is unique. There will be a visual variation between the Thor bar and the previous Odin bar.
