This 1912 Half-Sovereign has been struck in 22 carat gold and is in Fine condition. The obverse features a coinage portrait of George V designed by Bertram Mackennal. The reverse depicts Benedetto Pistrucci’s St George and the dragon design that has become synonymous with The Sovereign. This Half-Sovereign was struck at the Tower Hill location of The Royal Mint.
