Terms and Conditions

Introduction

1. The promoter of this prize draw is The Royal Mint Limited of Llantrisant, Pontyclun, United Kingdom CF72 8YT (The Royal Mint, we, us and our).If you have any questions about this Promotion, please get in touch with us at 0800 032 2154 or at customer.services@royalmint.com.
2. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when they take part in the prize draw.

Eligibility

4. The Promotion is:
   1. only open to residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 years of age or older;
   2. not open to employees of The Royal Mint and its group companies, or their immediate family.

The prize draw

5. A purchase of a Bundle is necessary to enter the Promotion.
6. Promotion entry is not conditional on consenting to marketing.
7. The prize draw opens on Tuesday 22 July 2025 at 09:00 hrs BST, and closes on Friday 22 August 2025 at 11:59 hrs BST. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates / times will not be included and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. To enter this prize draw, you must purchase at least one unit of one of the bundle combinations on the following page: https://www.royalmint.com/shop/mystery-coin-bundles/, and confirm your entry into the competition on the basket page by entering your email address when requested.
9. Eleven winners will be selected at random, using a computerised random number generator, from all eligible entrants and will be notified by email. Where possible the draw will take place within 48 hours of the prize draw closing.

The prize

10. Ten of the winners will each receive two tickets for two people to attend a standard tour of The Royal Mint Experience. One additional winner will receive one unit of a 1/40oz gold Proof coin.
11. Any licensors of licensed products forming part of this promotion are not involved or partners to the management or execution of this promotion and prize. Any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with these third parties.
12. The Royal Mint reserves the right to replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond The Royal Mint's control make it necessary to do so.
13. There is no cash alternative and any prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.

Claiming a prize

14. Once a winner has been notified, they will have until 11:59 hrs BST on 29 August 2025 to respond to claim their prize and confirm their address for delivery. If the winner fails to claim their prize, or chooses not to claim it, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner drawn.
15. Winners may be asked to participate in any related publicity to the prize and/or asked to write a review of the prize.
16. Each prize will be sent to each applicable winner within one week of a winner claiming their prize and confirming a delivery address.
17. Transport to and from any event forming part of a prize and overnight accommodation are not part of the prize.

Limitation of liability

18. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to this Promotion are final and binding.
19. Under no circumstances, unless required or prohibited by law (in which case your rights are not affected), will The Royal Mint:
    1. be responsible or liable for any loss, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion of the prize draw;
    2. be responsible or liable to compensate or accept any liability for any loss, damage, costs, expenses personal injury or death occurring as a result of this Promotion except where it is caused by the negligence of The Royal Mint.
    3. accept entries that are:
       (i) lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause;
       (ii) automatically generated by computer;
       (iii) completed by third parties or in bulk;
       (iv) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
       (v) photocopies and not originals; or
       (vi) incomplete; or
    4. accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion.

General

20. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, The Royal Mint may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude individuals from participating in the prize draw.
21. The Royal Mint reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
22. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform used by The Royal Mint as part of the Promotion.
23. The information submitted as part of the Promotion are for the following purposes:
    1. to enter the Promotion;
    2. so that we can contact you to inform you of the outcome of the Promotion (if applicable);
    3. so that we can contact you regarding any publicity requests;
    4. so that we may reach you via social media platforms; and
    5. as a method of contact for any related or future promotions if you choose to opt in to marketing communications.
24. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed as set out in The Royal Mint’s Privacy Policy.
25. The Promotion will be governed by English and Welsh law, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
