The Royal Mint is exploring the possibility of introducing a collection of high-quality metal original series pin badges based on the famous arrowhead division insignia featured in Star Trek.
These Legendary emblems became enduring symbols of Starfleet and were ultimately adopted throughout the United Federation of Planets in honour of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 and its historic five-year mission to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilisations.
Designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, the proposed pin badges would feature a recycled steel core component and a craftsman-finished design.
Indicative retail price: approximately £15 (subject to change).
