Introduction

1. The promoters of this prize draw are The Royal Mint Limited of Llantrisant, Pontyclun, United Kingdom CF72 8YT (The Royal Mint) and Third City of Fourth Floor, St Johns House, 53-54 St John's Sq, London EC1V 4JL Third City. 2. References to we, us and our are to both The Royal Mint and Third City collectively.
3. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when they take part in the prize draw.

Eligibility

4. The prize draw is:
   1. only open to residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 years of age or older;
   2. not open to employees of The Royal Mint or Third City and their group companies, or their immediate family; and
   3. restricted to one entry per person per platform across, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Entrants may submit one entry per platform, with a maximum of three entries across all three platforms mentioned above in total. Duplicate winning entries will be redrawn.

The prize draw

5. There is no purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
6. Prize draw entry is not conditional on consenting to marketing.
7. The prize draw opens on Thursday 18 September 2025 at 07:00 hrs GMT, and closes on Monday 22 September 2025 at 08:00 hrs GMT. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates/times will not be included, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. To enter this prize draw, you must share your own original content (being either photography and/or videography which you have personally and physically captured) featuring the giant Silver Top Hat which will be transported across the city of London, as part of the Ultimate UK Monopoly Coin Hunt. For the avoidance of doubt, content which simply screenshots third-party content, or content generated by artificial intelligence, will not be accepted.
9. Entries can be submitted via Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook as above, and must include the official campaign hashtag #Monopoly50p.
10. Following the close of the prize draw, all entries will be collated and verified by Third City. Entries will be identified using the campaign hashtag and checked to ensure the content is original. Any duplicate entries across platforms will be removed before the final draw. Each verified entry will then be assigned a number, and one hundred winners will be randomly selected using an online random number generator. A final winners’ list will be produced by Third City, and The Royal Mint will contact the winners directly via email.
11. Names may also be announced on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other Royal Mint social media channels. Where possible, the draw will take place within 48 hours of the prize draw closing.

The prize

12. Each winner will receive one of 100 available commemorative 50p coins from The Royal Mint. Available coins include 45 x Brilliant Uncirculated Monopoly 50p, 45 x Brilliant Uncirculated Colour 50p, 9 x Silver Proof Colour 50p and 1 x Gold Proof Monopoly 50p. Each person may only receive one coin, regardless of the number of valid entries submitted across platforms.
13. The prize is supplied by The Royal Mint.
14. Hasbro Consumer Products Licensing Limited is not involved or a partner to the management or execution of this prize draw and prize, and any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with it.
15. We reserve the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
16. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.

Claiming the prize

17. Once winners have been notified, they will have until 17:00 hrs GMT on Thursday 26 September 2025 to respond to claim their prize and confirm their address for delivery. The Royal Mint will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize, or chooses not to claim it, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner drawn.
18. Winners may be asked to participate in any related publicity to the prize and/or asked to write a review of the prize.
19. The Royal Mint will use reasonable efforts to send the prize to each winner by Friday 10 October 2025. There is no guarantee of delivery of the prize before this date.

Ownership of entries

20. All entries and any accompanying material submitted under this prize draw will become the property of The royalmint Mint on receipt and will not be returned.
21. By submitting your entry and any accompanying material, you:
    1. confirm that you are the sole legal and beneficial owner of the copyright and any other relevant intellectual property rights comprised in photos, sketches, drawings or images of any kind and in any media, forming all or part of your submission, and represent and warrant that any submission:
       1. is your original work, which has not been copied wholly or substantially;
       2. was not created in the course of your employment;
       3. is not defamatory, and
       4. does not infringe any third-party rights; and assign to The Royal Mint all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee, and waive absolutely all moral rights,
    2. In and to your entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world. Limitation of liability.
22. All decisions made by us relating to this prize draw are final and binding.
23. Under no circumstances, unless required or prohibited by law (in which case your statutory rights are not affected), will we:
    1. be responsible or liable for any loss, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion of the prize draw;
    2. be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, costs, expenses personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by our negligence;
    3. accept entries that are:
       1. lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause;
       2. automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (included but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
       3. completed by third parties or in bulk;
       4. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
       5. photocopies and not originals; or
       6. incomplete; or
    4. accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion.

General

24. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude entrants from participating in the prize draw.
25. We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
26. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any other social media platform used by us as part of the promotion.
27. The information submitted in the prize draw entry are for the following purposes:
    1. to enter the prize draw;
    2. so that we can contact you to inform you of the outcome of the prize draw;
    3. so that we can contact you regarding any publicity requests;
    4. so that we may reach you via social media platforms; and
    5. as a method of contact for any related or future promotions if you choose to opt in to marketing communications.
28. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in The Royal Mint's Privacy Policy, and Third City's Privacy Policy.
29. The prize draw will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
