In 2014, we introduced the exclusive 2014 Premium Proof Sovereign Set, an exceptionally limited offering comprising three gold coins – a Double-Sovereign, Sovereign and Half-Sovereign. Struck in 22 carat gold, each coin features Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic St George and the dragon design on the reverse.
Elegantly presented in a walnut-veneer case and accompanied by a uniquely numbered Certificate of Authenticity, personally signed by the Chief Executive of The Royal Mint, the set has a limited mintage of 306 worldwide. The obverse of each coin displays the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
