Made to be rare

An issue limit of just 12,  this exceptional piece of art is truly unique. The extremely low mintage represents the number of studio albums that The Who have had, making it a fitting tribute to one of the greatest rocks bands in British history.

Made to inspire

Using the latest innovative technology and manufacturing techniques, the coin features an exclusive laser–printed, patterned edge design using iconic ‘Who’ symbols and a special ‘shockwave’ effect, radiating from the speaker - elevating the detail of the coin. Designers and craftspeople at the Mint have developed this effect in honour of The Who’s record-breaking loud concert - a record that was held for a decade.
