Captured in one of E.H. Shepard’s original illustrations and finished to Proof standard, Piglet clutches a rather large dandelion as a buzzing bee flies onto the coin – a detail that brings together each coin in the series.

This is the first time the world of Winnie the Pooh has appeared on a UK coin struck by The Royal Mint and just 525 gold Proof coins are available – packaged in a case with a beautifully designed booklet all about Pooh’s faithful friend, Piglet.
