The 2019 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Definitive Coin Set

Struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard, superior to the circulating coins you will find in your change, this set includes the £1 coin designed by 15-year-old David Pearce, first issued in March 2017. The 1p to the 50p are presented together to complete the ‘picture-puzzle’ design by Matthew Dent, featuring the Royal Arms, while the £2 coin features Antony Dufort’s Britannia. The 50p is of particular note as 2019 marks half a century since the coin denomination was introduced. Each coin bears the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Her Majesty The Queen by Royal Mint coin designer Jody Clark, introduced in 2015. Unlike the coins found in everyday change, the coins in this set have never been handled. If removed from their setting they should be held carefully, by their edges, to avoid damage to the finish.
