Five Military Themed Designs Mark 50 Years of the 50p

As the 50p turns 50, our year of celebration continues. Hugely popular with collectors, the coin has marked some of the most important anniversaries in British military history. Brought together for the first time in one themed set, coins marking the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, the 50th anniversary of D-Day and the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain are presented alongside both coins released to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Victoria Cross medal.
