Four Generations of Royalty Celebrated in 22 Carat Gold
His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge’s christening in 2013 marked both a happy family celebration and a rare moment in the history of the British monarchy. For the first time since Queen Victoria’s reign, the monarch, her son, grandson and great-grandson were all gathered together. Now, five years later, as these four generations of the Royal Family mark an increasing number of personal and royal occasions together, we continue to celebrate these special moments with them.
This official UK £5 coin features a reverse design by heraldic artist Timothy Noad, who also created the design for the centenary of the House of Windsor coin collection in 2017. Just 500 coins are available, struck in 22 carat gold and finished to Proof standard.
