A Golden Celebration

A timeless tribute in gold to Prince George of Cambridge’s fifth birthday

As His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge turns five, The Royal Mint is delighted to mark this special milestone with a gold Sovereign – the classic coin of the monarch.Just 750 Sovereigns featuring Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic St George and the dragon design will be struck on 22 July 2018, Prince George’s fifth birthday. The striking is authenticated by a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity accompanying the 22 carat gold Brilliant Uncirculated coin.
