Peter Rabbit’s daring adventures set the scene for the 23 little tales would follow. He was the first character that Beatrix Potter created, and he remains as popular as ever across the world today with generations of readers. Since 2016, we have celebrated Beatrix Potter’s work by releasing coins which feature characters from her tales. Peter Rabbit has been shown in a different design each year, followed by other characters on their own coins.

The 2018 Peter Rabbit coin shows Peter munching on radishes taken from Mr. McGregor’s garden. The design is brought to life with colour printing on this sterling silver coin, which is finished to Proof standard, and comes in an acrylic case and is accompanied by a book featuring a cover exclusively designed for this set.
