A Tribute to HRH The Prince of Wales' 70th Birthday, Struck in 22 Carat Gold

Engraver Robert Elderton has created a new portrait of the prince for the reverse, which is paired with the official portrait of Her Majesty The Queen on the obverse. Perfectly capturing the prince in his 70th year, the coin is also year-dated, marking the coin’s place in time. Struck in 22 carat gold to Proof standard, the coin is presented in a classic Royal Mint box for safekeeping.
