From the birth of Prince Charles in 1948 to the arrival of their great-granddaughter Princess Charlotte in 2015, The Queen and Prince Philip have seen the Royal Family blossom during their 70-year marriage. The birth of the couple’s great-grandson Prince George in 2013 saw the first release of a new £20 silver coin. Its popularity sees it return for this royal celebration. Finished to Brilliant Uncirculated standard, the 999 fine silver coin’s obverse features Etienne Millner’s new combined portrait, with John Bergdahl’s equestrian design capturing the couple’s shared love of horses on the reverse.
