Own the most innovative coin ever produced by The Royal Mint

This is the first major change to the £1 coin specification since it entered circulation, replacing the £1 note in 1983. The new coin is 12-sided and has a bimetallic composition and appearance. Alongside its other security features, these help combat the problem of sophisticated counterfeiting. This 2017-dated £1 coin is struck in its circulating alloy and finished to Brilliant Uncirculated standard.
