Our Formal Charity Partner
Following a successful two-year partnership with Cerebral Palsy Cymru, our current formal charity partner is MIND Cymru. We kicked off this partnership in the summer of 2022, with our annual, and biggest to date, football festival, which attracted 80 community clubs from across South Wales. More than 650 under 7s to under 11s footballers attended the festival and, in special celebration of Wales’ qualification for the World Cup, we covered the entry fee for all attendees of the festival, supporting grassroots footballing talent and subsequently raising more than £5,000 for MIND Cymru.
886 Portrait Series: Meet the Makers
This series explores the talented individuals behind these beautiful pieces of jewellery. Fusing timeless and elegant designs with recovered precious metals, 886 by The Royal Mint honours the beauty of precious metals and precision engineering. Combining creativity, groundbreaking methods and traditional craftsmanship, the collection is the first luxury jewellery brand to use gold recovered from electronic waste. Helping us to fulfil our mission are our Chief Engraver Gordon Summers, our Precious Metal Workshop Co-ordinator Kloe Roles, and Dominic Jones, Creative Director of 886 by The Royal Mint.
