This Sovereign is dated 1918 and has been produced during the reign of George V. It was produced in the Ottawa branch mint and features the mint mark ‘C’ denoting Canada. The obverse features an official coinage portrait of George V, designed by Bertram Mackennal. The reverse features the classic St George and the dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci.
