Edward VII acceded to the throne after the death of his mother, Queen Victoria, in 1901. The penny was issued with his coinage portrait on the obverse between 1902 and 1910. This Edward VII 1902 penny is in Uncirculated condition. The obverse features a bare head portrait of Edward VII, as designed by George William De Saulles. The reverse features a design of a seated Britannia, as modelled by Charles Walter Coombes.
