The Royal Mint has an unbroken history of minting British coinage dating back over 1,100 years, and as one of the oldest and most revered manufacturing businesses in the UK, we have stood the test of time by constantly innovating.
The intricate skills involved in minting coins have long been admired and The Royal Mint is now utilising its vast abundance of in-house skills, including those of silversmiths, engravers and product designers, to create and produce our contemporary jewellery collections. So far, the Motto and Queen’s Beasts have been made on-site, but the future plan is to create all jewellery in the same factory as our coins.

The design heritage of The Royal Mint presents a vast opportunity when it comes to creating a new range of jewellery. British craftsmanship is at the core of our offering and we have hand-picked some incredible designers to work with. The resulting pieces are of extremely high quality, both in terms of design and the precious metal content. We are very supportive of local artisans and designers across our whole range.
