Constantine I, later known as Constantine the Great, was Roman emperor from AD 306. He was an influential and powerful leader and the first Roman emperor to adhere to Christianity. During his reign he was victorious in the civil wars against emperors Maxentius and Licinius to become the sole ruler of the Roman Empire by AD 324. To combat inflation he introduced the solidus, a new gold coin that became the standard for Byzantine and European currencies for more than a thousand years.

This ancient Roman bronze coin, or Follis, is more than 1,650 years old and in Very Fine condition.  A must-buy for those with an interest in the Roman Empire and an opportunity to own a piece of ancient numismatic history.
