This range marks the first time a United Kingdom bullion coin was struck in platinum and are the first in the series of platinum investment products to be available from The Royal Mint. Our platinum bullion coins contain one troy ounce of 999.5 fine platinum and as they are UK legal tender, our platinum coins are also capital gains tax (CGT) exempt.
Platinum bullion bars of 999.5 fine platinum are available in a variety of weights from one troy ounce to one kilogram. Bearing the distinctive branded 'RMR' logo, protected in serialised security packaging and printed with a unique serial number matching the number imprinted in the bullion bar to act as a certificate, RMR bars are the choice for quality and reliability.
All bullion bars are available with free delivery throughout the UK. As an alternative, when you purchase platinum bars of 100g and above, you may choose to store your investment in The Vault - our secure storage facility. This offers you the assurance of complete security, and you may then choose to sell the item back to The Royal Mint using our guaranteed buy-back service, at any time, using our simple to use website. Equally, you may choose to have part or all of your vault holding delivered to you at your registered address at any time.
