We are looking for experienced freelance concept artists and illustrators to work with The Royal Mint Coin Design team 

The role

The Coin Design team are responsible for turning ideas into industry leading products designed for manufacture. They supply some 100 issuing authorities around the world with designs, models and master tools. The successful candidates will be required to satisfy the following:

• Development of concepts with supporting rationale aligned to briefs
• Deliver to deadline
• Have proven experience in the commercial sector
• The ability to draw freehand to a high standard
• Online portfolios

The chosen artists will be given:

      -   appropriate education in designing for Coin and Medals

      -   consideration for UK competitions

Payment based on work requested and level of finish.
