The LAPADA Arts and Antiques Fair was hosted in Berkeley Square, London this year from September 26 to October 1. The event is one of the highlights of the industry calendar, attracting thousands of businesses, investors, and collectors from the worlds of bullion, commemorative and historic coins. The Royal Mint was pleased to attend the event, with a delegation of team members from across our Precious Metal, Commemorative and Historic and Rare Coin divisions.

The Royal Mint was a partner at the event and featured a physical stand that showcased a 15 kilogrammes gold coin with the late Queen Elizabeth II’s effigy on it where she’s seen on a horse back – similar to the coin that was made for her coronation, the newly launched Tutamen collection from The Royal Mint’s jewellery brand, 886, a range of collector sets and some newly launched commemorative coins.

Andrew Dickey, Divisional Director of Precious Metals at The Royal Mint, who attended this year’s ANA event commented:

“It was brilliant to attend LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair at Berkeley Square last week, giving us the opportunity to showcase The Royal Mint’s Precious Metals Division. I was joined by colleagues from our Collector Services, Commemorative Coin and 886 by The Royal Mint teams, demonstrating the breath of our precious metals offer.

Attendees were particularly interested in our range of bullion coins and bars – including gold, silver, and platinum – and our account management and storage services

The ongoing interest in these offers is testament to the brilliant work that is happening right across the Precious Metals Division”.

The other stalls at the event included art & antique dealers from around the UK, Europe and beyond.
