Doctor Who
The Last of the Time Lords and sole survivor of the planet Gallifrey, the Doctor fought on the front line of the Last Great Time War and was ultimately responsible for the destruction of the Daleks and of his own kind. Despite exploring every avenue open to him, he was unable to save a number of worlds and his brother, children, family and friends all perished along with his planet. Unable to go back and save them, he was left to wander the universe alone in his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space).

The Daleks
Protected by a polycarbide outer shell, a tank-like life-support machine, the Daleks were genetically engineered on the planet Skaro to be emotionless killers, with orders to conquer and destroy all other lifeforms. With a force-field capable of melting bullets on impact, the Daleks seemed completely indestructible until, in their fight against the Time Lords in the Last Great Time War, the Doctor destroyed both civilisations; thus the Doctor is known in the legends of Skaro as ‘The Oncoming Storm’ or ‘The Destroyer of Worlds’. A single Dalek survived and fell through time, crashing into the Ascension Islands in the middle of the 20th century…one Dalek in the entire Universe…
K-9
K-9 was a mobile computer created in the image of a dog, with a circuitry and intelligence far beyond Earth technology of the time. K-9 Mk I had remained on Gallifrey with the Doctor’s former companion, Leela, whilst the second K-9 stayed with another companion, Romana, in a pocket universe called E-Space. A new version, K-9 Mk III, was a gift for Sarah Jane Smith, which she received at Christmas in 1981. Sarah Jane was very fond of her friend but was left sad and alone when he sacrificed himself to destroy the krillitanes. So the Doctor built her a brand new model, K-9 Mk IV, with all the latest non-degrading parts and an omniflexible hyperlink facility, and the two headed back to her London home ready for new adventures.
