With a serene, peaceful expression, Britannia in 2010 has been given a softer, less warrior-like appearance. Yet, alert and ever watchful, she nevertheless conveys energy, strength and purpose. Depicted with flowing hair and robes, she wears a Corinthian-style helmet with a lion incorporated into its design. Her portrait has been created by the sculptor, Suzie Zamit while the obverse features the portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS.
