The four sister coins in the Gold Proof Britannia family of 2011, including the wonderfully impressive £100 coin – exclusive to this set – each features Britannia’s new portrait. Minted in 22 carat yellow gold to Proof quality and splendidly presented, the coins come complete with a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing that no more than 1,000 sets will ever be issued.
The Britannia gold collection for 2011 is now available with each of the four companion coins bearing the very patriotic portrait of Britannia by David Mach RA. All four coins, the highest denomination coins of the realm, are struck in 22 carat yellow gold to glorious Proof quality – the large £100 coin contains a full ounce of gold, the £50 a half-ounce, the £25 and £10 a quarter-ounce and tenth ounce respectively.
