The London 2012 sports collection comprises 29 50p coins representing the 29 sports of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Completer Medallion. Each coin design was chosen from a national competition of over 30,000 entries and finally made into a 50p coin. The Completer Medallion has now been struck for you to complete your London 2012 sports collection.

The Completer Medallion has been struck and is now available as a fun and vibrant pack to be added to your London 2012 sports collection.

As a result of the Royal Mint’s biggest ever British public competition, 29 winning designs were chosen to appear on 29 50p coins representing the sports of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A Collector Album is also available to house all 29 coin packs and the Completer Medallion which features the Olympic and Paralympic Games logos on one side and a representation of the Olympic Stadium on the other. The designer of the Completer Medallion is Claire Aldridge, an experienced engraver at the Royal Mint who also designed the series of London 2012 Countdown Coins.

I have bought several hundred pounds of Olympic coins to complete sets for friends and neighbours and family members . I have had over 30 complete sets and sold them on to these people at cost price , it has proven very difficult to get the collection tray because I was told you were not making them any more so I have been buying Schultz trays off ebay and Lighthouse trays for over exuberant prices and also purchased three of your collection trays for over £20 EACH on EBAY . people are making a mockery of the collections .I would like to think that you will limit your purchases to a reasonable level and put a ceiling limit to to give other people a chance
