Discover the pride of Wales on a double-thickness silver £1 coin, adorned with national floral emblems. Rich in symbolism, the ‘Land of my Fathers’ is represented by the Leek, the ancient symbol of Wales and also the Daffodil, popularly worn on St David’s Day.
Designed by Timothy Noad these are the first floral designs since best-selling series of 1984. Each coin represents one of the four nations of the United Kingdom. The £1 silver Piedfort coin for England is available now, while £1 coins for Northern Ireland and Scotland complete the quartet in 2014.
