You will still be able to register your Proof Sovereign online up until 27 October 2017, but will no longer be eligible to enter the record book or to win the prizes.

Terms and Conditions

By certifying your 2017 Proof Sovereign, prior to 1 April 2017, you consent to The Royal Mint including your name in its ‘200th year of The Sovereign anniversary book’ which will be held at The Royal Mint Experience.
By certifying your 2017 Proof Sovereign, prior to 1 April 2017, you will also automatically be entered into a free prize draw. The draw is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (except employees of The Royal Mint). You must be 18 years or older to enter the draw. Only one entry per person. Prize draw winners will be selected at random from all certifications received prior to 1 April 2017. Prizes shall be at the discretion of The Royal Mint and shall include one VIP visit to The Royal Mint Experience, with an overnight hotel stay on a date to be confirmed by The Royal Mint, or one of 200 signed copies of ‘A History of The Sovereign: Chief Coin of the World’ by Dr Kevin Clancy, Director of The Royal Mint Museum.

There is no cash alternative and the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. The draw will take place on or around 7 April 2017 and the winners will be contacted within 72 hours. Once the winners have been notified, they will have 96 hours to respond to claim their prize. If a winner fails to claim their prize, it will be forfeit and a new winner will be drawn. The winner may be invited to participate in any related publicity and/or asked to write a review of the prize. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when certifying their Sovereign. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to the subject matter of these terms and conditions are final and binding.
