The Designer
Claire graduated from the Cardiff College of Art with a degree in Art & Aesthetics in 1997 and has been receiving praise ever since. She has gained a commendation in the Goldsmith's Crafts and Design Council Awards as well as being the selected designer for one of the 2006 Victoria Cross 50p coins.
'I included three Olympic sports for the first three coins of the
series: Swimming, Running and Cycling, with the final design encompassing what all the athletes will be striving for, to be on the winner's podium.'
