To mark the end of an era in numismatic history and to celebrate the unveiling of Britain’s new coinage, the beautiful Royal Shield of Arms coins and The Emblems of Britain coins have been struck in the rare alloy of platinum and brought together in one prestigious collection.

This limited-edition collection is accompanied by two specially designed booklets, one featuring a short history of the first decimal coins and the other telling the story of the recent competition and containing a profile of the winning designer.

This is the first time that both sets of coins have been struck in platinum and only 250* collections will be ever be produced.
