How does this affect you?
VAT (value added tax) is applicable on many Royal Mint products sold in the United Kingdom and the European Union. It does not affect customers in the rest of the world.
Prices previously displayed at www.royalmint.com included VAT at a rate of 17.5% (where applicable). New orders received via our web site or the telephone are subject to the new VAT rate of 15%. This means that you benefit from a discount on all applicable products.
To calculate the new prices 15% is added to the product price excluding VAT.
