  1. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding is a limited edition of one only that has been made by the Jane Asher team using a selection of the finest available ingredients.
  2. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding will contain five 2013 Gold Brilliant Uncirculated £5 Sovereign and will be accompanied by 30 x Christmas Silver Sixpences (cumulatively worth £10,100.00).
  3. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding is listed for sale on Enquiries to be made using the telephone number provided on the website.
  4. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding will be available for sale until close of business 22 December 2014.
  5. Delivery of The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding before Christmas Day (25 December 2013) will only be guaranteed for customers living within England, Scotland and Wales, on orders placed before 11am on Monday 23 December 2013.
  6. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding will be couriered to the purchaser’s address and will need to be signed for on arrival.

    The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding pictured is a representation of how the final product could look on Christmas Day. The purchased pudding will arrive in packaging ready for heating ahead of serving. The pudding has been steamed for six hours and will need a further two hours steaming before serving. The 30 Silver Sixpences will be provided in full packaging so the purchaser can decide whether to decorate the Pudding with them or keep them separate. The five Five-Sovereigns-Pieces have been carefully wrapped and baked into the centre of the pudding.
  7. The Royal Mint advises diners to be very careful when eating this pudding and any Christmas Pudding which contains coins – the safest way is to search for the coins whilst the pudding is still on your plate!
  8. The Royal Mint Steamed Christmas Pudding is a three-pint 1.7L Pudding, and weighs 3.7lbs or 1.7kg (without coins).
  9. The Royal Mint Christmas Pudding has been created using a 200-hundred-year old family recipe. Please note that as it contains almonds it is not suitable for those with a nut allergy. The ingredients are:
  • Plain Flour
  • Suet
  • White breadcrumbs
  • Soft light brown sugar
  • Mixed dried fruits (which include raisins, currants, sultanas, candid mixed peel and glace cherries)
  • Whole blanched almonds
  • Grated carrot
  • Grated cooking apple
  • Ground ginger
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Grated nutmeg
  • Rind and juice of an Orange
  • Old Ale to moisten
