We have teamed up with the The Museum of London to bring you a very special competition to step back 350 years and experience the Great Fire of London. One lucky winner will win the prize consisting of 1x family ticket to the Fire! Fire! exhibition at the Museum of London.

To be eligible for the competition, participants must have an active Facebook account and like The Royal Mint Facebook page.

To enter the competition, participants must complete the entry form found here and answer the following question correctly between the opening and closing dates of the competition: “In what year did the Great Fire of London start?”

The competition opens on 3 October 2016 at 9am (DST) and closes at 23.59pm on 13 October 2016 (DST). Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates/times will not be included and no correspondence will be entered in to.

The competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (except employees of The Royal Mint). You must be 16 years or older to enter the competition. Only one entry per person will be accepted. All entries will be checked and verified by The Royal Mint. Any ineligible (or duplicate) entries will be disqualified and no correspondence will be entered in to. Use of a false name or details will result in disqualification.

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received within the specified time. There is no purchase necessary to enter the competition. One winner will be picked at random from a list of correct/eligible entries to win the prize of 1 x family-friendly ticket to the Fire! Fire! exhibition at the Museum of London. The prize is four tickets to the exhibition Fire! Fire! Tickets may be used for four adults; three adults and one child; two adults and two children; or, one adult and three children. One adult over 17 must be part of the group. The ticket is valid until 31 March 2017. Travel to London is not included. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.

The draw will take place on or around 14 October 2016 and the winner will be announced on The Royal Mint Facebook page within 48 hours of the draw taking place. The winner will also be contacted via email. Once the winner has been notified, they will have 96 hours to respond to claim their prize. If the winner fails to claim their prize, it will be forfeit and a new winner drawn. The winner may be asked to participate in any related publicity and/or asked to write a review of the product. 

The Royal Mint do not accept any liability for any incomplete, lost, stolen, or damaged entries. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this competition. The promoter of the competition is The Royal Mint, Llantrisant, Pontyclun, CF72 8YT, United Kingdom. The Royal Mint accepts no liability for entries that are lost or incomplete. The Royal Mint accepts no responsibility for prizes that are lost, stolen or damaged. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to this promotion are final and binding.
