Win a tour of the Bank of England

Enter our free prize draw for the chance to see behind the scenes at the Bank of England.

The winner of the Bulletin prize draw will see the Bank of England in a way that few people ever do.

The main doors of the Bank of England will be opened specially to admit our winner and their guest when they arrive for their behind-the-scenes tour.

Curator John Keyworth will be their guide for the visit to the UK's central bank and the Bank of England Museum, housed within the same building, on Threadneedle Street. Dr Kevin Clancy, Head of Historical Services at the Royal Mint, will also accompany the winners. The Museum tells the story of the Bank over its three centuries of history bringing visitors up-to-date with the important role it plays in today's economy. The experience will be of particular interest at a time when economic matters are in the news headlines every day.

Exhibits include a timeline illustrating the events on 27 key dates in the Bank's history, from 1694 - when the Bank was founded - to 1997, when it took charge of setting interestrates. But visitors can also find out about the architects who created the building, view the intricate coin mosaics that adorn the floors and, in its Did You Know exhibition, hear some unexpected and thought-provoking stories about the Bank.
