The 2008 Silver Maple Leaf from the Royal Canadian Mint features on its reverse the iconic Maple Leaf which has become one of the most recognisable numismatic designs to feature on a coin. The edge inscription reads CANADA at the top and testifies to the .999 fine silver content of the coin as well as weight of the coin.The obverse features a classic portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by Dora de P�dery Hunt with the edge inscription ELIZABETH II 5 DOLLARS 2008.
