Ordering Assistance
The Royal Mint is committed to making your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. In this section we have summarised all of the information you should need to shop online.
Placing an order
We have tried to make the ordering process as quick and intuitive as possible. To place an order on the Royal Mint website please use the following step-by-step instructions
- Shop by browsing through our product categories or use the search facilities in the left navigation bar.
- In the product listings page click on a product image or the 'view' button to access detailed product information.
- Add products to your shopping bag by clicking on the 'Add To Bag' button.
- Review the items you have chosen in your shopping bag by clicking the 'Shopping Bag' link in the left navigation bar. To delete an item from your shopping bag, click on the 'Remove Item' button.
- To resume shopping after viewing your shopping bag, click the 'Continue Shopping' button.
- Alternatively if you have finished shopping and want to complete your purchase click the 'Checkout button'.
- Proceed to finalise your purchase by following the on-screen instructions to log in to your account or create a new account. You will then need to submit your payment details and confirm your order.
- When your order has been confirmed you will be given an order reference number and you will be sent an order confirmation by email.
Prices
The prices on this website can be displayed in pounds sterling, US Dollars and Canadian dollars. By default the prices are shown in pounds sterling. To change the currency on the website click on the $USD or $CAD link in the left navigation bar.
All sterling prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT, where applicable, at 17.5%. We reserve the right to amend prices if there is a change in the rate of VAT.
Please note, if in the unlikely event a pricing error occurs on the website we will correct the price and ask you to confirm whether you still wish to purchase the goods at the correct price. We will not accept an order if there is a pricing error.
Payment options
The Royal Mint accept Visa, Master Card and Maestro as methods of payment on our website. The payment will be debited from your card when the order is despatched.
Promotion codes
Most of the promotions on the site are handled automatically. However, occasionally we will give you a promotion code, which will enable you to take advantage of some very special offers.
To use a promotion code simply add items to your basket and proceed to checkout. When you reach the order summary page, enter the promotion code into the 'promotion code' box displayed. You will need to enter the promotion code in order to get the discount on your order.
Royal Mint Peace of Mind guarantee
If you are not completely happy with any of your purchases the Royal Mint will refund your money in full, they are returned within 30 days of receipt by Special Delivery, complete and in mint condition.
Security advice
The Royal Mint takes the security of your transactions and personal information very seriously. The Royal Mint will never ask for your royalmint.com account password or your bank account details by email. If you are contacted or receive an unsolicited email, which asks for your password or personal banking information, disregard the request and report the communication to the Royal Mint for investigation.
Please note that email correspondence is not a secure means of communication. Please do not send sensitive information, such as passwords or credit card information, via email.
